About Jodie
Following my bachelor’s degree, I earned an MBA and UCLA’s post-master degree certificate in College Counseling. I stay current with ever-changing college admissions by attending professional conferences, reading publications on industry trends, and visiting college campuses. And as a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), I’m committed to the highest standards in college counseling ethics and conduct.
Over the years, I have worked with students from a broad range of backgrounds and skill sets. I counsel on course selection, standardized test planning, extracurricular activity development, and application essay writing. My personalized approach helps students gain admission to their best-fitting institutions, from large state universities to some of the most selective private colleges in the country.
When not working with students, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring new places with my husband. Our children are grown, and their college planning took place many moons ago. However, that experience gave me a parent’s perspective on the college process, contributing to my empathy and compassion while working with teenagers and their parents.
I look forward to learning about your student and goals for college admission. Please reach out to see how I can help!
