About Jodie
After earning my bachelor’s degree, I went on to complete an MBA and UCLA’s post-master's certificate in College Counseling. To stay current in the ever-changing world of college admissions, I regularly attend professional conferences, read industry publications, and visit college campuses. As a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), I’m committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in college counseling.
Over the years, I’ve worked with students from a broad range of backgrounds and academic abilities. I provide personalized guidance on course selection, standardized test planning, extracurricular activity development, and application essay writing. My approach helps students gain admission to colleges that best fit them—whether large public universities or highly selective private schools.
Outside my work with students, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring new places with my husband. While our children are now grown, navigating their college process has given me a parent’s perspective, which deepens my understanding and compassion when working with students and their families.
I look forward to learning about your student and their goals for college admission. Please reach out to see how I can help!
